This workshop is open to anyone, whether you have sung or played before, or if you already have experience.
Sunday 9th March 2025 10am – 4:30pm, The Roper Theatre, Bath
In this exciting day we will run two workshops in parallel:
We will learn favourite classic hits from rock and soul genres and bring this together in an afternoon group performance - over 100 singers and 12 bands, which will be videoed for you to share with family and friends!

In this exciting day we will run two workshops in parallel:
- singers forming a choir - led by Beth Morgan, Jo Sercombe and Matt Finch
- group tuition with Jamie Hunt, Mark Whitlam and Helen Aldcroft for the following band musicians:
- guitarists
- bassists
- drummers
- keyboardists
We will learn favourite classic hits from rock and soul genres and bring this together in an afternoon group performance - over 100 singers and 12 bands, which will be videoed for you to share with family and friends!
Songs will very likely be Don't Stop Believin', Livin' on a prayer, Lean on me, Falling, We are the champions (to be confirmed as singers/band players sign up)
If you are wanting to play in the bands, when selecting your ticket, choose the best-fit for your current experience – we will be organising band as follows:
A full band will include 2 guitarists, 2 Keyboard players, 1 drummer and one bass player
** Please be aware that there are only 30 band musician spaces available, whilst we can accommodate up to 220 singers.
Unfortunately we can only have 18+ years of age at this event
If you are wanting to play in the bands, when selecting your ticket, choose the best-fit for your current experience – we will be organising band as follows:
- Level 1: beginner players
- Level 2: some playing experience
A full band will include 2 guitarists, 2 Keyboard players, 1 drummer and one bass player
