"I have taught singing since 1994, face to face lessons and now online Zoom lessons as well. I am happy to teach anything that you love to sing and teach any style/genre. I teach beginners to advanced and many of my students like to take either classical, music theatre, or Rock & Pop exams, but if you chose not to, there is no pressure to take exams. Some of my students have gone on to the Royal Academy of Music in London, Trinity College of Music in London, Mountview, Guildford School of Acting, LIPPA and Emil Dale, as well as music degrees in universities, such as Cambridge and Bristol. One of my students was the first female chorister to be admitted to St.Paul's Cathedral choir.
I also have had lots of success with choirs in competitions such as Mid Somerset Festival and BBC Choir of the Year. In fact, I used to be the Choral Director of Hayesfield Upper School Choir, and were semi finalists of the BBC Choir of the Year competition - the top 6 choirs in the country! With another choir I formed after that, we won "choir of the day" in the regional heats of the BBC Choir of the Year. So I absolutely love teaching individually and big groups in a choir.
I continue to learn the most up to date vocal technique methods in singing, this includes the Estill method, which I studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and this technique is used widely in the West End, Broadway, and many Music Theatre colleges, such as The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Jo Estill, who founded this technique, was an opera singer, and she did a vast amount of research into the anatomy and physiology of voice production, which explains how the voice works, enabling her to sing and teach safely in any style of music whether it be Classical, Music Theatre, Jazz or Pop. I am currently on the EMT PATHWAY, which, when completed, I will be an Estill Master Trainer.
Please don't hesitate to contact me on this email address if you have any questions."

Testimonials
“You can always be yourself in Bella’s lessons . If you get something wrong she can always find a technique to fix it whilst having a laugh.” - Eliza
"Thank you for your amazing lessons! I have only had lessons for a year but my confidence has improved massively! I would never have been able to perform a lead part in my school show without the amazing lessons. Not only have I learned a lot, but I've had so much fun! I started lessons with no previous training and little experience but even after 6 months I was happy to stand on a stage by myself and sing in front of an audience. My technique has improved massively and because of this, my confidence has grown. Thank you so much for teaching me this past year, it has been so much fun and I can't wait to start having lessons again soon :)" - Florian
"We had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady after deciding to have some singing lessons and saw on a local website that someone had recommended her and we can fully understand why. Not only is Bella a great singing teacher she is a lovely person who is very professional, encouraging, patient and a positive teacher. Bella explains everything so well. Even during lockdown Bella has kept us going with her online singing lessons" - Annie & Carole
